It’s official; the fall has begun. And new season also means new fashion trends. So what are the Autumn/Winter 2019 fashion trends? Well, that’s the question I’m going to answer you through seven different articles. Indeed, there are a lot of trends this winter, and there is no way to miss any of them! This first article will focus on the various fashion styles in vogue this Autumn 2019. Here they are:
Bourgeois

The bourgeois style is indisputably one of the biggest fashion trends of the Autumn of 2019. The designers did not fail to present several “posh looks” with seventies’ influences. You will find essential pieces, such as the trench coat, the scarf around the neck, the well-fitting blouse, or the timeless blazer – a fashion style that will bring you a feminine, elegant, chic, and refined look.
Punk rock

The punk rock style, inspired by the 80s, is another trend that has stood out on this season’s podiums. A complete opposite of “posh looks,” the fashion designers suggested plenty of feminine outfits with a rebellious touch. The key elements of this trendy fashion style? Leather, black colour, metallic colours, tartan, and even sequins. A trend that will please all those who like to be fashionable while challenging conventions.
Romantic

Having already made a few small appearances in Summer, the romantic style is now one of the top trends this Winter. It refers to freshness, lightness, and softness. You can adopt it in a bohemian way with “hippie chic” pieces, a baby doll look with pink tones, or an even more pronounced romantic look with a long dress… you’re spoiled for choice. The romantic style will add a touch of delicacy in your outfit.
Western

Fashion is in the Western this winter! The cowgirl looks did not miss the call during the catwalks. The Western style was especially noticeable through accessories, such as cowboy boots or the big buckle belt. However, this trend has also been transmitted through fringed jackets, denim shirts, and even leather jackets. Get ready to travel to West America with this new trend because the Western look is going to be all over the place this new season.
Preppy

The preppy style makes its grand entrance this Autumn/Winter 2019. A trend that originated in the early 50s and comes from students of the eight major private universities in America (the famous Ivy League). This fashion style is a subtle mix of sporty and posh/classic with a collegiate appearance. The style ensures a bourgeois look that is falsely casual, while keeping it chic.
The motto of this Autumn/Winter 2019 is: femininity. The fashion designers highlighted the woman through different fashion styles that are sometimes the opposite of each other. A smart way to demonstrate the different facets of today’s woman! I also loved the many winks of the past, especially the sixties, seventies, and eighties.
So, what is the fashion style that speaks to you the most this Autumn/Winter 2019?
