This week, I’m going to talk about the benefits of the Bioderma Atoderm range. I discovered this range in 2011, and since then, I can’t live without it.

Unfortunately, I am one of those people who have allergic reactions to almost everything. I must always be careful about the products I use on my skin and also on my clothes. I have allergic skin reactions to so many things that I would need a whole article to be able to mention everything. My body skin is super sensitive, and it hasn’t always been easy to manage, especially when I was a teenager. That’s why I’m grateful to have crossed the path of the Bioderma Atoderm range. This discovery has really been a game changer for me. These products helped me to take better care of my skin and to manage the moments of cutaneous crises.

The Bioderma Atoderm range

The Atoderm range is specially designed for sensitive, very dry and irritated skins. The products of this range are hypoallergenic and have dermo-patented formulas. The particularity of the Bioderma Atoderm range is that it restores the hydrolipidic film of the skin in a sustainable and organic way. This means that it helps strengthen the epidermis and helps the skin relearn to produce the essential lipids for skin protection. This is the range you need if you suffer from allergy, itching, or eczema.

My review is not sponsored and won’t cover the entire Bioderma Atoderm range because I haven’t had the chance yet to try it all. However, I will focus on three products in their range that together form my body care routine: Atoderm Shower Gel, Atoderm Cream, and Atoderm PP Balm.

Atoderm Shower Gel by Bioderma

It’s an ultra-gentle shower gel that cleanses your body while boosting the skin’s moisture level and protecting the skin, thanks to its lipidic-replenishing action. Atoderm Shower Gel respects the skin’s balance and brings the skin more softness and suppleness. It’s delicately scented, colouring-free, soap-free and paraben-free.

I use this product every day, every time I take a shower, and I love it. It doesn’t attack the skin, its scent is discreet, and it really gives me a soft skin. I only buy the one-litre pump bottle format that is super convenient to use. I don’t use more than five pumps per shower, and that’s enough to enjoy a nice foam. I’ve been using this product for almost nine years, and my skin doesn’t get tired. You directly feel the difference on your skin when you use this shower gel.

Atoderm Cream of Bioderma

Atoderm cream is an ultra-nourishing and moisturising cream that repairs, soothes, and protects the skin. It raises the skin’s tolerance threshold, provides immediate comfort, and ensures hydration of the skin for a period of 24 hours. Its formula is fragrance-free, paraben-free, and non-comedogenic.

This cream is my skin’s essential. I apply it every day after each shower. It penetrates the skin very well, and the hydration is optimal. Its fragrance-free formula is a real asset for people with sensitive skin like me. My skin significantly feels better since I’ve been using this cream. It’s much more resistant and softer. I always buy the 500 ml version, but it also exists in a 200 ml quantity.

Atoderm PP Balm of Bioderma

It’s an ultra-nourishing balm that restores lipids and reduces skin discomfort. This balm stimulates the skin’s natural defences, thanks to its regulating action that repairs the cutaneous barrier. The balm is also paraben-free and fragrance-free.

This balm is a real blessing for my skin. It moisturises the skin and instantly penetrates it. Since I’ve been using this cream, I can count the number of times I’ve had eczema. It greatly calms the discomfort of irritation and itching. I apply it once a day (for two-three days) on the relevant body parts:

  • when my skin abnormally starts being itchy.
  • after I shaved myself

I apply it twice a day (the time it takes) on the relevant body parts:

  • when I have an allergic skin reaction

Atoderm PP balm ensures a role that is both preventive and repairing.

These different products from the Bioderma Atoderm range are a real success. They keep all their promises mentioned on their packaging. On average, they last for 2 to 2.5 months, which gives them an excellent quality-price ratio. You can buy these products in big pharmacies and any big Boots stores. I highly recommend them to anyone with sensitive, dry, or irritated skin. The only thing I don’t necessarily like with these products is the presence of mineral oils (in the cream and the balm) and sodium laureth sulfate (in the shower gel). Apart from that, the products are great!

Have you ever used this range? What do you think about it?
